Week 3 of HONOR was all about authority. Kids learned about how important it is to honor those that God places in authority over us. Absalom, King David’s son, learned that the hard way in 2 Samuel 15 & 18, this week’s Bible story. Absalom rebels against his father the king and sins against God. This week, talk about the different types of authority in your kids’ lives. Ask them how they can honor those that God puts in authority over them.
