Brazil Trip Update
We’ve had an amazing trip. After visiting several villages, we feel led to establish long term relationships with 2 tribal communities: Bela Vista and Sao Tome’. The tribes have historically been looked down upon by Brazilians but we found them very warm and receptive, not just for our help but as friends.
We’ve already got next year’s trip planned and dated and hope to add a medical/dental team in the fall of 2011. In addition, people with construction skills are very much in need. We also visited two very primitive tribes with which we hope to form relationships. You’ll be amazed by their pictures! Activities have included lots of soccer, crafts, computer training, family visits and interviews.
We will leave money to start a chicken farm and hope to follow that up with a vegetable garden project. Much more to come, but in the meantime check out these great photos from our trip!
